This essay was a Reflection/Self-Assessment, which was truly a learning experience. On the first day of class, we were asked to write an essay on something that inspired us or gave us a lesson. I wrote about my first essay which made me learn the consequences of plagiarism. In this essay, I saw the difference between a college assignment and a high school assignment. My first draft had way too many grammar, spelling, punctuation, speech, and connecting paragraph errors. This made me less confident to share my essay with class fellows for peer review. In the second draft, I got help from the English department at college which showed me a well-written paragraph. It wasn’t my best, but a lot was improved. This essay was a true reflection on my writing which motivated me to write more and practice my writing.
